A Special Thanks 11/22/11

Holy bajeezus guys! 500 views? I never thought I would get that many people looking at my blog! Really, I just started this thing to vent, I could hardly believe it when I reached 100, but 500?! Wow, for once I really am at a loss for words. I know my stuff lately has been about junk in the media, I do plan on putting more personal stuff, but I’ve planned things before and never got to it, so as usual, no promises. I just wanted to thank all those people who stumbled upon my blog. I especially want to thank those people who took their time to comment, I love comments and try to reply to all of them (Of course there are not many so it’s not too hard) but I really appreciate it. So in honor of the 500+ views, I’m going to post pictures and comics and junk, I think I did this a while ago, and I’ll try not to repost ones that I did in the last one. I hope they give you a chuckle.

This is one of my first comics, I thought it would be fun since the holidays are coming up. I'm going to be re-making this so it looks better.

I made this comic a little before Kitty died, this was something she loved doing. And I miss her.

I made this as a follow up to kitty, even though it's a bit sad at first it's one of my favorites.

My best friends husband is a mad genius

This is an avi art I did farely recently, I love those colored pencils I got~

This is the first comic I have EVER done with MS paint

I’ll try to see if I can post more later. I hope you liked these ^^

My Minecraft Mountain Kingdom. Beginning 11/21/11

So I made a creative world in minecraft, of course giving it the ever tasteful name of “Doo Dee Doo” Because, well, I have no creativity. So when I opened up the world, I did what I do with all creative worlds and wandered aimlessly trying to find the best place to build. I found this place, and it’s so hard to explain, but it’s just a huge group of mountains, and they’re not like shallow, or slight inclines, they’re like super steep, and they are a few floating islands, one of which I built up, making it wider. I decided I would make a mountain village, which will have several small buildings on top of the mountains and on the side of the mountains, there will be paths connecting the mountains, and for ones that will have to have the paths too low there will be tunnels going through them making it to the top. I have several screen shots, though because it’s so huge I will try to also explain them. So far I have a few connecting bridges and one building, there are also a few places where I added waterfalls, but not many, like maybe 2 or three at the most.

So, let’s get it started, I will include small explinations on the bottom of them. I hope you enjoy my ever artistic shots of minecraft.

Alright, so this is one angle of the mountains, as you can tell, there’s quite a bit to it, the farther areas didn’t even load. And that’s my little house. I would have built it all the way up, but because the top of that mountain is close to the cloudline, the houses will be shorter. I wanted to bring the roof up to an absolute point, but things don’t always work out that way

Another shot, of more of the mountains, this is so you can see how high they are. I love the formations on this, like the weird little formation close to the middle, here you can also see a small floating island.

The mountains are a border between the forest and the desert, which I think is pretty cool.

I was excited about that lava fall, I didn’t put it there and it looked really cool.

And of course a lava pit!

Another look at how steep things are.

Another lava pit

Another look at the steepness. I hate being up this high because it takes a while to load, this causes the game to lag quite often.

Sun was setting and I thought it looked cool.

A look at the main mountains from the desert side.

More mountains! Here you can see the paths a little bit, though it’s dark because, well, it’s night.

I guess I took another picture of the lava fall. I put another one on that little piece that is jutting out.

Another angle of the land bridge.

That’s the floating island I built up.

Those sheep are fucked.

This is one of my favorite forms. It’s so cool looking!

See that awesome lava/water fall? I made that, too bad it didn’t turn out well.

Anywho, that’s it for now, I’ll try to post more as there’s more progress. Hopefully I will finish it without the game accidentally getting deleted. Hope you enjoyed!

Blissful Ignorance 10/19/11

So, for the past couple of days it has been raining like no ones business. It’s really been a mix of either really light, or really really heavy, and of course being me and not watching the news, I thought it was just Florida’s annoying weather. In light of the weather I woke up really late, it was hard waking up while hearing rain drizzle on the window pane. (I’m sure I’m not the only one who has felt this way) I went off to class and afterwards went home to pick some stuff up. Apparently, while I was on my way from home back to my dorm the big rain cloud that was plauging our college turned into a tropical depression. Of course I STILL didn’t know this, because screw the news and hung out with my friends.

During this time, my and my two guy friends got into a marker fight (two 21 year olds and a 19 year old, we’re so mature) That escalated to a foam soap fight, which in turn, lead to a shaving cream fight. By the way, shaving cream on your gums… kind of feels like mint toothpaste, except more burny. So yeah, if you were ever wondering what shaving cream tasted like, there you go. This whole time it was raining outside, but again, we didn’t think anything of it. I got completely covered in marker… the two literally pinned me down and scribbled all over me. Of course I guess I deserve it, when I was trying to mark one of them in the face I kinda ended up stabbing and scratching him instead with the marker. The soap was my idea, I was trying to wash the marker off of me and my clothes, I saw the foam soap, and I could hear the two of them plotting something, so I had to go out on the attack. The guys found the shaving cream and went crazy with it. We accidentally got it all over the hallway, a little water got rid of that, but when the stuff gets on your skin it feels all waxy and gross, so I had to shower.

I got back to my dorm and started getting ready for bed when my two roomates came out and told me about the tropical depression. Apparently we are on a tornado watch and a flood warning and has been like that since I drove back to my dorm from my house. I’m kind of glad I didn’t know about the tropical storm, if I had I probably wouldn’t go over to my friends room and wouldn’t have had all that fun~ Maybe ignorance is bliss after all. Just a little thought for the day. I keep forgetting about

Plastic Wrap prank! 9/21/11

Oh man! What a week! As some of you know, I go to college, the way my dorm is set up, is at the beginning there is a kitchen and social area, then there are four rooms going down the left side of the hall, and on the other side there is a sink area lined with two bathrooms that both contain showers. In the dorm, there is me, Desiree, Tara, and Jesumine. Me Tara and Des are pretty cool together, and Jesumine is cool too, but it’s funny because she’s so opinionated, and she has a tendency to just go crazy, sometimes she says some mean things, they are just a mix of her joking around and just being very opinionated, so lately we have gotten into the habit of pranking her. The first time we did it she was in the shower, belting out songs, and so I found the electrical box and kept switching the lights off. She’s afraid of the dark so started freaking out.

So yesterday we decided to take it a step further and put plasti-wrap over the bathroom door while she showered. The plan was that she would walk into it when she came out of the shower and freak out over it. Of course plans don’t go right and we didn’t set the plasti wrap up right, there were wrinkles and overlaps, so you could sort of see it. Anyway, she finally finished her shower, which seemed to take an hour and finally opened the door, even though it didn’t exactly turn out the way we wanted it, she still freaked out, so in a way it was worth it. It was nice, cause after she freaked out she ripped it down and cleaned it up XD Here’s a picture of the three of us together, and my next post will be a review on the movie “The Debt” See you next time!!
